Europameisterschaft der Waldarbeit für Schüler und Studenten 2026 am Litzlhof in Lendorf
Von 19. bis 22. Mai 2026 findet die 22. Europäische Studentenmeisterschaft in Forstlichen Fertigkeiten (ESCFS 2026) statt – in diesem Jahr erstmals am Litzlhof in Lendorf.
Die ESCFS bringt junge Forsttalente aus ganz Europa zusammen. Teilnehmende aus ganz Europa messen sich in praxisnahen Disziplinen rund um Waldpflege, Waldverjüngung und den professionellen Umgang mit der Motorsäge.
Im Mittelpunkt der Meisterschaft stehen forstliche Kernkompetenzen wie Aufforstung und Bestandespflege sowie technische Bewerbe, darunter Kettenwechsel, Präzisionsschnitt, Kombinationsschnitte und Entasten. Die Wettbewerbe spiegeln den hohen Ausbildungsstandard der europäischen Forstschulen wider und fördern zugleich den internationalen Austausch junger Fachkräfte.
Der Litzlhof bietet mit seiner modernen Infrastruktur und seiner Nähe zur Praxis ideale Voraussetzungen für diese renommierte Veranstaltung. Neben dem sportlichen Wettkampf steht vor allem die Vernetzung der zukünftigen Försterinnen und Förster Europas im Fokus – ganz im Zeichen von Nachhaltigkeit, Fachwissen und Teamgeist.

European Forestry Skills Championship for School and University Students 2026 at Litzlhof in Lendorf
From May 19 to 22, 2026, the 22nd European Student Championship in Forestry Skills (ESCFS 2026) will take place—this year for the first time at Litzlhof in Lendorf.
The ESCFS brings together young forestry talents from all over Europe. Participants from across Europe compete in practical disciplines related to forest management, forest regeneration, and professional chainsaw use.
The championship focuses on core forestry skills such as reforestation and stand management, as well as technical competitions including chain replacement, precision cutting, combination cuts, and limbing. The competitions reflect the high standard of training at European forestry schools and at the same time promote international exchange among young professionals.
With its modern infrastructure and proximity to practical applications, the Litzlhof offers ideal conditions for this prestigious event. In addition to the sporting competition, the focus is above all on networking among Europe’s future foresters – in the spirit of sustainability, expertise, and team spirit.
